The course will show methodologies necessary for finding heirs of people
who have died without immediate family. This type of research is
commonly needed for legally probating estates.
Prerequisite: GEN 1010
Introduction to Genealogical Research.
This course prepares students to present forensic genealogy finding in
court, to attorneys, and/or clients as well as the legal requirements
for forensic genealogy specialists in individual states.
