This course focuses on helping the genealogist verify information
correctly, and to determine, when there is conflicting information, what
sources are really correct. It unmasks fraudulent genealogies published
long ago as well as helping the genealogist to know the correct usage
of sources. Prerequisite: None.
Required Textbook: Professional Genealogy, edited by Elizabeth Shown Mills and Structural and Functional Genealogical Research by Jeanette K B Daniels. The latter has not yet been published and the necessary parts of that book have been added into the course.
