This course focuses on all five communicative skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing, and culture. The major objective of this course is to develop functional language ability in survival and social situations. Emphasis is on proficiency. Attendance in the internet lab is required. Note: This is the first part of a two part course. Prerequisite: None.
