German, Swiss, Austrian, Czech Republic, Solvenia, Liechtenstein, Alsace-Lorraine and Luxembourg German and French genealogical research, methodology will be explored by the students using case studies. This course will introduce students to conducting genealogical research in German language regions of Europe and among German emigrants in North America. Students learn to name, describe, locate and use main reference works for research.
